I guess it's about time I wrote something here. And sure enough, my current playlist set to "random" delivers Is This Love? in the lovely voice and style of Bob Marley floating through my headphones. The Sun is shining and there's a cool breeze today on the coast. I've got some errands to run soon. I'm buying myself a new little portable mini-conga today with a shoulder strap to take to drum circles. I'm going to a meeting this evening of the organizing committee for the annual weekend retreat of The Circle of Men, a local extended group dealing with our issues as men.

For my birthday I got a new digital point and shoot with 10MP, so I'm armed and dangerous. I always tend to overdo thing in the beginning. So I don't get down on myself for it anymore, I just ride with it and seek my balance. So I've busy lately learning how to use it and playing with my first results.

I registered a profile at Myspace a little over a year ago and have been quite busy there. In spite of all the show and games I've used the possibilities there to network with people and communicate in various ways and it's been a very interesting and blossoming project. I've only been active on-line at all since April of last year. I'm in touch in some personal way with over 150 people in the meantime, some that I met in person in the meantime or received books or personal art work and many encouraging thoughts and responses from, and talked with on the phone, either as e-pals, at Myspace, Care2 or PaganPath. It has enriched my life.

Why take on another internet community? Well, to some extent, they overlap and provide extended possibilities. Also, I like very much the concept of Conscious Capitalism and the emphasis on practical creative projects that are going on, mixed with plenty of possibility to socialize without getting lost in glitz and glamour.

I've updated my profile with refinements and written more comprehensive lists of movies, books and things that are works of other people, that I cherish for their contributions to my life. I added some of the first photos with my new camera, too. I wrote down a couple of goals to get clear and oriented. I've tried to begin to give a picture of who I really am.

"I am another you!"

I'll continue to play with what I've learned and experienced already on-line and refine my priorities to what works best in really communicating and sharing with real people in an appropriate and responsible manner. Hey! Life is a juggling act and I am a dancer.

I'm a getting older man living on low income on the north California coast. I'm writing with "Slipstream", my PC, a rebuilt HP Pentium III running on Linux - Xubuntu software with a DSL hookup. I've already experienced an interesting life. I'm curious now if I can offer a little of my experience and perspective as I continue to learn and grow and find out what difference I can still make.

I've missed my lunch. But, I have to write here sometime. Ernest once wrote, "Kelton is a hard man to get going and a hard man to stop." Mick Jagger is now singing Anybody Seen My Baby? Years ago, at just the right time, Ernest also told me, "Kelton. Be your own wife, safe your own life!" I'm so happy I've discovered my "inner" woman and married her. Life is more fun and less desperate now and I am truly blessed with the things that matter to me most.

I'll continue to devulge more of myself here from time to time. Part of me likes regularity and stability, but I'm on the path of The Fool and never know for sure what's going to happen. So I refine my own codex, practice staying present, grounded and aware, and watch for the opportunities that the Universe provides along my path, and consider committing to where I think I can keep it and dance and juggle with life in my own unique style. Hopefully I put love and intelligence into doing whatever it is at the moment before me. And so as the third dimensional component of a multi-dimensional team work as a grandfather wild-card warrior in service of Mama Gaia and her original intent and the redemption and emancipation of her children, us ... humanity.

Now I'm off to experience some more mundane magick. When you hold a place open with imagination, love and commitment for love and magick to happen, it does! Make a place for a fellow human who's angry and upset at the moment, to heal and become an ally. Show a little human acknowledgement and kindness to the people who serve you in sometimes thankless jobs each day. Add your human touch to the machine!

Thanks for reading this. Thanks for being who you are.
